Look familiar? We're back on zoom! But only once a week for our
English Club. Below is one of our first english clubs we hosted.
You might be confused and be wondering "what does ministry look
like in a new place and with COVID still being a barrier?". Good
question, ministry here in Asia Minor looks pretty similar to ministry
in East Asia. We still meet university students in hopes of getting to
build a relationship and ultimately introduce them to Jesus. The main
difference between East Asia and Asia Minor is that building trust
with students often takes a little longer here in Asia Minor. In order
to build trust, we get to spend more relational time with students
before sharing Jesus with them. Sometimes building trust can take
years before reaching a point to share the Gospel.
On top of the traditional ways of meeting students, we also host a
virtual English Club. The English club is a great way to meet students
and build relationships especially with being unable to get onto
several of our campuses. Though ministry can look a little different in
a new place, the desired hope and outcome is still the same-
introducing students to Jesus.

Pray that we are able to get our
residency permits smoothly
Pray that our English clubs would
grow and generate fruitful
conversations

One fun thing about being in Asia
Minor is that I get to connect with
other local staff. Fun fact- this couple
knew me when I was their kids ages
and now we get to serve in the same
country.
